Ad Unit

An Ad Unit is the space in your app’s template destined to display ads of one kind. For each type of ads to be displayed in every different page in your app, you have to set a different Ad Unit.

Registering your Ad Units at our platform is not mandatory, however we strongly recommend you doing so for it allows you to track the results of each Ad Unit on the In Loco Media dashboard and easily measure their individual performance through the graphs and infos provided there.

First, get started on the platform you use. After you integrate the In Loco Media SDK to your platform, create your Ad Unit by following the instructions below.

Creating an Ad Unit

Click in New Ad Unit at the left sided menu and select Your App on the list, or at the bottom of the page in Your App details click on + Ad Unit.

Select your App. Fill the Ad Unit informations

  • Type the Ad Unit name

  • Choose the type of your Ad Unit between Banner, Interstitial, Native, Push Notification and Custom (if it's a Native Ad, go to the next topic)

  • If it is a Banner: Set up the interval on which that Ad Unit will refresh on the Refresh Rate field

  • Select where the ad will come from in the Ad Source field

  • Choose which kind of ads you want to show on this Ad Unit in the Categories field. If you don’t choose any categories it defaults to all categories

Click Finish.

Now your Ad Unit is added to the information of your App page. Fetch the AdUnit Id from the bottom of the App page.
