User privacy is a central concern at Inloco.
Regulations, such as the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), requires application developers to ask for permission before collecting user data. Inloco SDK provides a mechanism to handle this in an user-friendly way.

How does Inloco deal with privacy?

We use privacy by design as our default strategy, that is, we think of privacy from the conception to the final use of our products.
Our technology was developed in a way that prevents access to information capable of re-identifying users. Inloco does not collect unique static device identifiers (such as IMEI and MAC), associated accounts (e-mail and telephone), civil identification data (name and social security number), as well as sensitive data – information that reveals ethnicity, religion, political opinion, religious, philosophical, political or union entities membership or data regarding health, sex life, genetics, and biometrics.
To offer our services, Inloco collects data from the mobile device through the SDK. Every app must present Inloco's Privacy Policy in their own Terms and Conditions of Use and Privacy Policies, and inform the user that data might be collected by Inloco. Once authorized, Inloco's SDK then starts to collect the data in a safe way and without identifying users.
Users can also deny data collection by opting-out and not giving consent, which disables features for them. For example, it won't be possible to send localized push notifications without location data. The application must allow users to opt-out of Inloco data collection at any time.
